My new beautiful baby brother
You see I have been waiting 5 years
For a little brother or sister to love

We named him Carlos Alexavair
The same first name as my Dad
But we're going to call him Alex
Because he needs a name of his own

My mom is so very happy
My little brother is OK
Because we were worried
Something was wrong in some way

But God took care of him
For he is perfect in every way
But he’s so very, very tiny
He scares me some times in a way

Mom says I have to be careful
Cause he is so very little right now
But Mommy let me hold him
Even let me feed him a little while

I know it’s going to be OK
Cause my Mommy and Daddy
Will always love me and baby Alex
Always and forever the same
